Kate is an Olympic Champion in rowing; she won a gold medal in the women's lightweight double sculls event and competed at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics. She has also won multiple medals at World Championship and World Cup events and has broken the world record three times. Kate retired from professional rowing 18 months ago, and since then has branched into her other passion- yoga and meditation. Having first started practicing aged 14, she found yoga and mindfulness to be the perfect complement to elite sport and a 'Type A' personality! Kate now teaches weekly in-person and online classes to both the public and private corporations; she works in a light-hearted, relaxed way, and loves seeing her students grow and reap the benefits of their practice.
• Clothing - wear comfy clothes that you can move around in easily, and perhaps a jumper for the meditation if you think you'll get cold.
• A yoga/exercise mat if you have one, but no worries if you don't! Just a space about a yoga mat's size that you can move around in and some padding for your knees if needed.
• If you think you'll find it uncomfortable sitting on your mat/floor for the meditation bring a cushion/chair etc. - anything that you think will help you to feel better

Sandrine has designed this experience to help you connect with your body, still your mind and discover how an approach of slowness and present moment awareness can support you as we create new habits and live with the uncertainty of these times.
No experience of meditation or yoga is required and we won’t be doing any strenuous moves! She will guide you through breathing techniques and simple exercises alongside a taste of SlowLife Coaching; tools and ideas about how to create an attitude of slowness in daily life. In this moment where many of us are exhausted, sleeping poorly and dealing with anxiety, the benefits of meditative yoga and a slow lifestyle are particularly important.

Good to Know: Why make kombucha? The 2,000 year old tradition has a rich history of health benefits like improving digestion, boosting energy and helping your immune system. The probiotic nature of kombucha means it is full of beneficial bacteria that are good for your gut, body and mind. Kombucha is made from sweetened tea that's been fermented by a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (aka SCOBY).
