Modest Formal Dresses In Opulent Fabrics

Romantic, Bold Yet Modest Formal Dresses and Other Affordable Islamic Styles That Are Never Too Revealing. Matching Complimentary Cover Ups and Jackets, Which Are Always Difficult To Find, Are Available With Many Of Our Gowns

Silk and chiffon gowns in rich colors that are not revealing or too short, and more importantly, come with coordinating hijabs and wraps.

You need not worry about finding a matching cover up or jacket for our modest formal dresses.

Many of our styles come with free matching wraps. Many of our formal dresses are hand beaded and also feature faceted jewels that set apart our silk gowns.

Bright colors, embellishments and cascading gowns are typical of Artizara’s formal clothing. Silk, hand embroidered and jeweled gowns are also part of our dress line.

Dupioni silks offer our caftan clothing line a luxurious satiny sheen. Our dresses feature flattering sweeping styles. Modest, round necklines and tapered shapes are also typical of our dresses.

Our formal dresses offer classic straight sleeves, fit and flare styling with no vents but still maintain elegant movement. Rich, satin stitch embroidery that is a staple of our modest dresses are also included in our line of rich gowns.

Our dresses are typically floor-length gowns with embellished bodices and mandarin collars. Teal, plum and shimmering gold colors make them a must have for your wardrobe.

Our chiffon gown is one of our favorites, with its empire waist, accentuated with pin tucks, and bejeweled bodice. The bodice also has a cap sleeve with delicate, lined bangle style double-layer under sleeve that’s a particular favorite among younger women. The ruffle-like hemline has a contrast trim.

Embellishments of our formal dresses range from crystals to pearl beads, a combination found in our Suzanne silk gown. The gown has a mandarin collar that sweeps across the eye-catching neckline. The flared hemline and fully line dress also has slight shaping at the waist. The shaping makes it figure flattering.

For special or formal occasions, Artizara’s modest formal dresses are always appropriate.

Inspired By Our Heritage

Our founder, Sarah Ansari, has been sewing clothes since she was young. Her mom taught her to make clothes piece by piece, and to have pride in her own skin.

Deeply inspired by the rich artistry of cultures influenced by Islam, Sarah recalls looking up at the ceiling in an ancient mosque, enthralled by the interlocking patterns that go on forever. "It's a metaphor for the universe, how we’re all inter-connected. Life is complex, it’s beautiful, and we’re all in this together.”

This is at the heart of why she started Artizara: to share a story of human connection through witnessing beauty.
