This sterling silver necklace features the words Allah (God) and Muhammed (the Prophet's name) in fluid calligraphy encircled within a filigree crescent. A small Allah clasp, with a long double gold/silver chain make this necklace even more special.

Islamic calligraphy or "Khatt Islami" is a major form of artistic expression in Muslim cultures, dating back to the 7th century. With its polished mirror finish and touches of silver amidst the gold, this unique necklace is reminiscent of the Nasta'liq calligraphy style, reinterpreted in a fresh, contemporary way.

While Allah is the Arabic word Muslims use to refer to God in Islam, it has also been used by Arab Christians since pre-Islamic times. In Islam, the name Allah is the supreme and all-comprehensive divine name, and all other divine names are believed to refer back to Allah, the Omnipotent, the Creator of the Universe.
