Gorgeous hand beaded bracelet in Aqeeq (Agate) and silver, made by Afghan children with disabilities, from the Sarahim Center for Special Education in Kabul, Afghanistan. High quality faceted agate (Aqeeq) and silver beads. Silver tone clasp.
Each pice is individually made by hand. Slight differences in color, bead arrangement or size may be present, and are the hallmark of the hand made nature of this product.
Your purchase helps children at the Sarahim Center. The mission of the Center is to help developmentally and physically challenged Afghan children in three main areas – literacy, vocational skills and physiotherapy – that will allow them to become self-supporting and productive adults. Artizara purchased this first small collection from the Center, with the hopes of partnering with the center to promote the children's crafts. We were inspired by the children's creativity in the face of so many challenges, and we hope you will be inspired too- to help the children and spread the word!
