According to Al-Farabi one of the greatest scientists and philosophers of the Muslim world, the oud was invented by Lamech, the sixth grandson of Adam. An Oud is depicted in this design against bright foliage with the words "Qalbi, Qalbak, Quloobana" (My Heart, Your Heart, Our Hearts).

Artizaan is an inspired collaboration across three continents, infusing the love of Eastern and Western graphic traditions. Graphic design by Australian artist Peter Gould is highlighted with Chinese calligraphy by master calligrapher Haji Noor Deen, and brought to life by Artizara in Los Angeles, California.
