Exquisite sterling silver filigree decorates this oval keepsake box pendant, accented with a cabochon Aqeeq stone. Aqeeq (agate) is a stone favored by the Prophet (pbuh) according to some traditions, and therefore has spiritual significance for Muslims. The calligraphy on the pendant reads "Allah is the Best Protector and He is the most Merciful". What a wonderful way to store something precious and memorable, like a photograph or a lock of hair! Handmade by Egyptian artisans following centuries' old jewelry-making traditions. 18 in. (45.7 cm.) leather cord necklace with lobster clasp included.
